  • There are multiple fires burning in the Upper Buckland and Mt Buffalo areas that are not yet under control.
  • Fire conditions have eased in the area. However, you must monitor conditions and be ready to act.
  • An upgraded message will be issued if the risk to the community increases.
  • This Advice message replaces the Watch and Act issued today (14 January) at 10.26 am. 
There is currently no threat to you, but you should plan for what you will do if the situation changes. 
What you should do: 
  • Monitor warnings so you can act quickly if the situation changes.
Impacts in your area: 
  • The Buckland Valley Road is closed at the Porepunkah roundabout. The Mt Buffalo Rd is closed at the Olive Farm. Local residents and business owners are able to enter these points but must have their identification.
  • Buffalo River Rd is closed at Glanford Road.
