  • The fire has been contained within the fire perimeter but you should remain vigilant and monitor conditions.
  • Increased wind speed, change in wind direction, smoke or poor visibility can indicate the situation is changing.
  • There is still fire activity in the area, smoke may be visible for nearby communities.
  • This Advice replaces the Advice - Threat is Reduced message issued at 11.08am on 19 January 2025.

There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.
What you should do: 
  • Monitor weather conditions and warnings. 
  • Review your fire survival plan. 
  • If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes.
Impacts in your area: 
  • Falling trees can still pose a risk along roadways, especially with increased wind or any storm activity.  People travelling along roads within the area need to exercise caution.
  • Check the VicTraffic website (traffic.transport.vic.gov.au) or call 13 11 70 for road closures.
  • Fire crews continue to work and patrol some areas within the fire perimeter during the day. Overnight if you do have fire to report, ring 000 for a normal brigade response.
