This Community Information message is being issued for Blackwood, Greendale, Lerderderg. 
  • There is a bushfire at Greendale that is under control.
  • Firefighters with machinery will continue to work on the fire and the surrounding areas.
  • Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads. 
  • This Community Information replaces the Advice issued at 10:50 am, Monday 9 February 2026.

Impacts in your area: 
  • All roads in the Lerderberg State Park are closed including: Obriens Road between Greendale-Trentham Road and Bluegum Track.
  • The Lerderderg State Park is closed to all visitors including campers, runners and walkers.
There is no immediate threat to the community and no action is required.
