The Threat is Reduced following the grassfire at Clarkefield. 
  • The grassfire at Clarkefield is now under control. 
  • On the 11th of Feb 2026, a fire started near Konagaderra Road and burnt approximately 480 hectares. 
  • Hotspots and smoke may still appear in the burnt area over the next few days.
    Only call Triple Zero (000) if you see an active fire or a clear column of smoke.
  • Local firefighters will continue monitoring the fireground to keep the area safe and respond quickly if anything changes.
  • This Advice message replaces the Advice - Stay Informed issued at  11:31AM 14.02.2026.
People located within Clarkefield, Wildwood are now able to resume normal activities.
