This is a
Final Minor Flood Warning for the Broken River downstream of Casey Weir
River levels are
continuing to ease along the Broken River at Orrvale where river levels are
below the minor flood level.
No further significant
rainfall is forecast for the catchment for the next few days to cause
renewed river level
rises.
River levels are
continuing to ease along the Broken River downstream of Casey Weir.
The Broken River at
Orrvale peaked at 7.74 m around 05:30 pm Wednesday, with moderate flooding. The
river is currently at 5.96 m and falling and is below the minor flood level (6.80 m).
The Broken River at Orrvale is expected to remain below the minor flood level
(6.80 m).
This Advice replaces the Advice issued at 4:21pm on Thursday 14th August 2026.
Separate messages are still current for minor flooding on the Goulburn River at Shepparton, and on the Seven Creeks at Kialla.
The threat of flooding is reduced. Stay informed -

remaining in the warning area.
