Flooding is no
longer expected in the South Gippsland Rivers catchment.
- Several flood
warnings are current ranging from minor to major flooding across West Gippsland
and parts of North East and central Victoria.
- A complex low
brought heavy rainfall to West Gippsland and the North East and central ranges
during Wednesday and Thursday.
- Rainfall is now
easing across the flood watch area with 5-15 mm forecast across West Gippsland
and Central Ranges for Thursday.
- Flood warnings are
current for Mitchell River, Avon River, Macalister River, Thomson River,
Latrobe River, Traralgon Creek, Yarra River, Bunyip River, Dandenong Creek,
Maribyrnong River, Werribee River and Goulburn River.
- Current flood
warnings are available at www.bom.gov./vic/warnings
