Minor flooding is occurring along the Latrobe River upstream of Yallourn

The Latrobe River at Willow Grove peaked at 4.70 metres during Thursday afternoon and is currently at 4.35 metres and falling, with minor flooding.

What you should do: 
  • Be prepared to act if your situation changes.
  • You should stay informed by listening to emergency broadcasters and monitoring warnings.
  • Avoid travel if possible. Please be careful if you need to drive as there may be water over roads, landslips and trees down. 
  • Never walk, ride or drive through floodwater.
  • Never allow children to play in floodwater.
  • Stay away from waterways and stormwater drains during and after heavy rain.
  • Keep well clear of fallen power lines.
