This Flood Watch is being issued for Otway Coast.

  • Minor flooding is possible from Friday afternoon.
  • A complex low pressure system will track across Victoria during the remainder of Thursday. 
  • The system will move to the east overnight with a southeast low moving slowly over Bass Strait and Tasmania during Friday.
  • Catchments in the flood watch area are wet. 
  • In the 24 hours to 9:00 am Thursday widespread rainfall totals of 10-25 mm were recorded in catchments of the flood watch area.
  • For Friday and Saturday, totals of 20-40 mm (isolated 50 mm) are forecast for the Otways.
