This Flood Watch is being issued for Bemm, Cann and Genoa Rivers.

  • Localised and isolated areas of minor flooding are possible from Saturday afternoon in catchments of the flood watch area.
  • Thunderstorms and heavy rainfall have been observed across the flood watch area resulting in river rises.
  • Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to continue during Saturday, contracting to the eastern ranges.
  • Widespread rainfall totals of 5-15 mm are forecast for the remainder of Saturday, with isolated falls of 50-70 mm possible with thunderstorms. 
  • Widespread rainfall totals of less than 20 mm are forecast for Sunday, with isolated higher falls possible.
  • Isolated minor flooding and localised flooding due to heavy rain associated with storms are possible from Saturday afternoon in catchments of the flood watch area.
  • A minor flood warning is current for the Snowy River.
