This Minor Flood Warning is being issued for King River at Docker Road.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT DOCKER ROAD BRIDGE AND WANGARATTA OVER THE WEEKEND

River level rises are occurring in the Ovens and King Rivers, with minor flooding likely at Docker Road on Saturday and Wangaratta on Sunday.

In the 24 hours to 9:00 am Saturday, rainfall totals of 10 to 30mm have been recorded in the Ovens and King catchment. 

Rainfall is expected to ease during Saturday.

King River:
Minor flooding may occur along the King River.

The King River at Docker Rd Bridge is currently at 3.39 metres and rising, below the minor flood level.

A peak around the minor flood level (3.7 metres) may occur in the King River at Docker Rd Bridge late Saturday afternoon.

Ovens River downstream of Rocky Point:
Minor flooding is likely along the Ovens River downstream of Rocky Point.

The Ovens River at Wangaratta is currently at 11.43 metres and steady. 

The Ovens River at Wangaratta is likely to reach the minor flood level (11.90 m) during Sunday.
