This Minor Flood Warning is being issued for the Kiewa River downstream of Mongans Bridge.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT KIEWA (MAIN STREAM) AND BANDIANA FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING   

River levels are elevated along the Kiewa River in response to recent rainfall.   

Further thunderstorms are forecast across the catchment during Tuesday, which may cause renewed river level rises and minor flooding. The situation is being monitored and warnings will be updated as required.

The Kiewa River at Kiewa (Main Stream) is currently at 2.28 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (3.30 metres). The Kiewa River at Kiewa (Main Stream) may reach the minor flood level (3.30 m) from Wednesday morning with forecast rainfall.   

The Kiewa River at Bandiana peaked at 2.73 metres Sunday afternoon and is currently at 2.23 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (2.80 metres). The Kiewa River at Bandiana may reach the minor flood level (2.80 m) from Wednesday morning with forecast rainfall.
