This Advice message is being issued for Boroka Track, west of Halls Gap.
  • This Advice replaces the Watch & Act issued at 7:31pm Monday 20 January.
  • There is a bushfire at Boroka Track, Grampians National Park that is contained.
  • It is not safe to return to the Boroka Track area. 
There is currently no threat to you, but you should stay informed and plan for what you will do if the situation changes. 
What you should do: 
  • Obey all walking track and road closures
  • Monitor weather conditions and warnings. 
Impacts in your area: 
  • The Boroka Walking Track is closed. 
  • The Mount Difficult Road is closed for access to Boroka Lookout.
  • The Mount Victory Road is open. 
  • There may be increased fire crew activity and movement of displaced wildlife. Please drive carefully. 
  • Check the VicTraffic website (www.traffic.transport.vic.gov.au) or call 13 11 70 for updates on road closures.
