The Threat is Reduced following the bushfire at Little Desert National Park
  • This Advice message replaces the Advice issued at 3.00pm on Monday 3 February.
  • The spread of the fire has been slowed, crews continue to work on building containment line and supressing fire activity. 
Community Meeting
Members of the community are invited to attend the Goroke Community Meeting held 6pm Tuesday 4 February at  Goroke & District Memorial Hall -  27 Main St, Goroke VIC 3412.
People located within the area are now able to resume normal activities.

Whilst the threat is reduced, people are advised to remain vigilant and monitor conditions as the situation can change quickly.
Impacts in your area:
  • Emergency services will remain in the area. 
  • The following roads is still closed: Kaniva-Edenhope Road.
