River levels along the Mitchell River at Glenaladale are easing following recent moderate flood peaks. 
 
No further significant rainfall is forecast for at least the next few days.

Minor flooding is easing along the Mitchell River at Glenaladale. 
 
The Mitchell River at Glenaladale peaked at 5.41 metres around 2:30 pm Thursday, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 4.24 metres and falling, with minor flooding. The Mitchell River at Glenaladale is likely to fall below the minor flood level (3.00 metres) overnight Friday into Saturday.
