This Advice message is being issued for Drumborg, Mount Richmond.
  • There is a bushfire at 10 kilometres North-NorthWest of Mount Richmond that is not yet under control.
  • Firefighters are working to establish containment lines. 
  • This Advice replaces the Advice issued at 11:20am today.
There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.
What you should do: 
  • Monitor weather conditions and warnings. 
  • If you have time, check your neighbours to see if they are monitoring conditions.
  • Review your fire survival plan. 
  • If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes.
Impacts in your area: 
  • Aircraft may be visible in the area. A reminder to not use drones in the area as this will cease firefighting operations. 
  • Firefighters are on scene and will be using fire to strengthen control lines.
  • Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads. 
  • Check the VicTraffic website (www.traffic.transport.vic.gov.au) or call 13 11 70 for road closures.
