  • The large grassfire that has been burning in Goomalibee, between Tarnook Road and the Broken River, is under control. 
  • Small fires may still be burning in this area, and firefighters are patrolling the fire with heavy plant and machinery to completely extinguish it.  
  • Beware of dangerous tree hazards. 
  • Smoke may still be visible from nearby communities and roads.
  • Only local traffic can travel in this area. See below for more information on road closures.

  • intersection of Tarnook Road and Burness Road 
  • intersection of Terret Rd and Goomalibee Road.
There is no immediate threat to the community and no action is required.
