This Advice message is being issued for Beetoomba, Bucheen Creek, Bullioh, Cravensville, Henlow, Lucyvale, Tallangatta Valley, The Cascade, Wyeebo.
  • There is a bushfire at 25Km West Of Walwa that is not yet under control.
  • The bushfire is travelling within Mt Lawson State Park in a southerly direction. 
  • A community information meeting will be held at the Bullioh CFA shed on Thursday at 9.00am.
There is currently no threat to you, but you should stay informed, monitor conditions and plan for what you will do if the situation changes. 

What you should do: 
  • Monitor weather conditions and warnings. 
  • Review your fire survival plan. 
  • Move stock early if possible.
  • If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes.

Impacts in your area: 
  • Smoke will be visible from nearby communities and roads. 
  • The Murray Valley Highway can and will be closed without notice if required.
