There is a bushfire at 25Km West Of Walwa that is not yet under control.
Stay informed as weather conditions may cause an increase in fire activity.
This Advice replaces the Advice issued at 10:56am this morning.
There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.

and warnings.
Review your fire survival plan.
If you do not have a plan, decide what you will
do if the situation changes.

Check the VicTraffic website (www.traffic.transport.vic.gov.au) or call 13 11 70 for road closures.
Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads.
The Wodonga Emergency Relief Centre located at the Exhibition Centre will be open from 9am -5pm Friday 16th January 2026, with Towong Shire and City of Wodonga Staff on site to provide support referrals and relief information for community. It will be closed from 5pm Friday. Further assistance can be provided at the following information hubs below.
