  • There is a bushfire 25Km west of Walwa that is not yet under control.
  • Crews are working to strengthen containment lines and conduct controlled back burning in the southern part of the fire. 
  • This Advice message replaces the Advice message issued at 6:35pm on Saturday.

There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.
What you should do: 
  • Monitor weather conditions and warnings. 
  • Review your fire survival plan. 
  • If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes.

  • Check the VicTraffic website (www.traffic.transport.vic.gov.au) or call 13 11 70 for the latest road closures.
  • Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads. 
  • Emergency services, machinery and aircraft will remain in the area.
