This
Advice message is being issued for
Colac Colac, Corryong, Cudgewa, Tintaldra, Towong, Walwa and surrounding areas..
- There is a bushfire at 27Km West Of Walwa that is not yet under control.
- The
fire started in the Mt Lawson State Park on the 5th January and has spread
through to the Nariel Valley and Tallangatta Valley.
- The
immediate fire threat has reduced.
- This
Advice replaces the Advice issued at 2.10pm on Wednesday.

There is currently no threat to you, but you should stay informed and plan for what you will do if the situation changes.

and warnings.
- Review your fire survival plan.
- If you do not have a plan, decide what you will
do if the situation changes.
- Have
a clear trigger on when you will leave and know your travel route

The
weather this weekend is expected to be hot with a chance of thunderstorms.
- Emergency
services, machinery and aircraft will remain in the area.
- Smoke
may be visible from nearby communities and roads.
