Advice message is being issued for
Bullengarook, Greendale, Lerderderg.
- There is a bushfire at Greendale that is contained.
- Firefighters with machinery will continue to work on the fire. Aircraft will also be seen in the area.
- Burning out operations will continue to take place so residents may see smoke coming from the fire area.
- This Advice replaces the Advice message issued at 5:27 pm Thursday 5 February 2026.
There is currently no threat to you, but you should stay informed and plan for what you will do if the situation changes.
What you should do: - Monitor weather conditions
and warnings.
- Review your fire survival plan.
- If you do not have a plan, decide what you will
do if the situation changes.
Impacts in your area: - The following road is closed: Obriens Road between Greendale-Trentham Rd and Bluegum Track.
- The Lerderderg State Park is closed to all visitors including runners and walkers.
- Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads.
