  • This Community Information replaces the Advice Message issued on 7 February 2026.
  • There is a bushfire at Carlisle River that is under control.
  • Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads. 
  • Firefighters remain on site to continue to extinguish any remaining hotspots.
  • Crews asssited by heavy machinery are  working on rehabilitating affected tracks and stabilising key areas of the fire ground.
There is no immediate threat to the community and no action is required.
