This Advice message is being issued for Bullengarook, Greendale, Lerderderg.
  • There is a bushfire at Greendale that is under control. 
  • Firefighters with machinery will continue to work on the fire and the surrounding areas.
  • This Advice replaces the Advice message issued at 12:50 pm Sunday 8th February.
There is currently no threat to you, but you should stay informed and plan for what you will do if the situation changes. 
What you should do: 
  • Monitor weather conditions and warnings. 
  • Review your fire survival plan. 
  • If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes.
Impacts in your area: 
  • All roads in the Lerderberg State Park are closed including: Obriens Road between Greendale-Trentham Rd and Bluegum Track.
  • The Lerderderg State Park is closed to all visitors including campers, runners and walkers.
  • Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads.
