This is a Final Minor Flood Warning for Snowy River downstream of McKillops Bridge. 
    MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT BASIN CREEK AND JARRAHMOND
    Rainfall during Thursday and Friday has led to river level rises across the Snowy River catchment. 
    River levels are still rising across the catchment and this is expected to continue through the weekend, however river levels are no longer expected to reach the minor flood level at Basin Creek or Jarrahmond.
    Snowy River downstream of McKillops Bridge:
  • Flooding is no longer expected along the Snowy River downstream of McKillops Bridge.
  • The Snowy River at Basin Creek is currently at 2.72 m and rising, below the minor flood level. 
  • The Snowy River at Basin Creek is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.50 m).
  • The Snowy River at Jarrahmond is currently at 1.65 m and rising, below the minor flood level. 
  • The Snowy River at Jarrahmond is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.10 m).
The threat of flooding is reduced. Stay informed - monitor your local conditions and beware of hazards remaining in the warning area.

  • Be prepared to act if your situation changes.
  • Floodwater is dangerous - never enter floodwater.
If your home or business has been flooded:
  • Check for building damage before you enter.
  • Have all electrical and gas equipment professionally tested before use.
  • Clean and dry out the building as soon as possible.

  • Stagnant water can be harmful to your health. Don’t swim, drink or wash in stagnant water.
