This Minor Flood Warning is being issued for Seven Creeks downstream of Euroa.

MINOR FLOODING EASING AT KIALLA WEST

Moderate rainfall over the past week across the Seven and Castle Creeks catchment has resulted in creek level rises. Minor flooding is easing along the Seven Creeks at Kialla West. 

Seven Creeks downstream of Euroa:

The Seven Creeks at Kialla West peaked at 4.77m around 02:00 am Sunday 5 July, with minor flooding. 

The creek is currently at 4.68m and steady, with minor flooding. The Seven Creeks at Kialla West is likely to fall below the minor flood level (4.50m) overnight Sunday into Monday.
Stay informed - monitor your local conditions and remain alert.
What you should do: 
  • Campers in the vicinity of the bushland between Shepparton & Mooroopna, Raftery Track, Kialla and Commons Track, Mooroopna should relocate as campsites and access tracks may become indundated and / or isolated.
  • Floodwater is dangerous - never drive, walk or ride through floodwater.
  • Be prepared to act if your situation changes.
  • Stay informed by listening to emergency broadcasters and monitoring warnings. 
  • Farmers should consider moving livestock and machinery to higher ground.

  • High river levels and potential flooding in areas close to rivers and streams.
  • Local roads may be closed and low bridges may be underwater.
  • If Minor flooding does happen in Kialla West:  Mitchell Road may flood between the Goulburn Valley Highway and Archer Street.   
  • Road Closures are in place at: Watt Rd, Raftery Rd between Edgewater Rd & Seven Creek Drive, Mitchell Rd between GV Highway & Archer Road.
  • Low bridges may be underwater.
  • Parks, tracks and campgrounds may be closed due to flooding.
