MINOR FLOODING EASING DOWNSTREAM OF LAKE BUFFALO

Moderate rainfall since Monday has caused significant river level rises and areas of minor to moderate flooding across the Ovens and King River catchments.

Minor flooding is easing along the Buffalo River downstream of Lake Buffalo and along the Ovens River at Rocky Point.

Buffalo River:

The Buffalo River at Lake Buffalo (Downstream) is currently at 3.20m and falling, with minor flooding. The Buffalo River at Lake Buffalo (Downstream) is expected to fall below the minor flood level (3.20 m) late Sunday afternoon.
