MINOR FLOODING HAS EASED ALONG THE OVENS RIVER AT ROCKY POINT
Moderate rainfall since Monday has caused significant river level rises and areas of minor to moderate flooding across the Ovens and King River catchments.
Moderate flooding peaked along the Ovens River at Wangaratta.
Minor flooding is easing along the Buffalo River downstream of Lake Buffalo and along the Ovens River at Rocky Point.
Ovens River Bright to Rocky Point:
The Ovens River at Rocky Point is currently at 3.11m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Ovens River at Rocky Point is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.20 m).
The threat of flooding is reduced. Stay informed -
monitor your local conditions and beware of hazards
remaining in the warning area.
