This Minor Flood Warning is being issued for the Ovens River downstream of Rocky Point.

Minor flooding is possible at Wangaratta overnight Wednesday into Thursday.

Rainfall across the Ovens and King River catchments since Saturday afternoon has resulted in renewed river level rises across the catchments. Minor flooding peaked along the King River at Docker Road Bridge Tuesday evening. Combined flows from the Ovens and King rivers may cause a minor flood peak at Wangaratta overnight Wednesday into Thursday.

Ovens River downstream of Rocky Point:

Minor flooding is possible along the Ovens River at Wangaratta. The Ovens River at Wangaratta was at 11.49 m and steady at 8:00 pm Tuesday, below the minor flood level. The Ovens River at Wangaratta may peak near the minor flood level (11.90 m) overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
