  • Minor flooding has eased along the Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservoir. Minor flooding is occurring at Loddon Weir.
  • The Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservoir is currently at 1.41 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservoir is expected to remain below the minor flood level (1.50 m).
  • This is an update, replacing the Advice message issued at 12:56 pm on Friday 28 August.

  • Stay informed by listening to emergency broadcasters and monitoring warnings.
  • Floodwater is dangerous - never drive, walk or ride through floodwater.
Impacts in your area: 
  • Lower areas of the Loddon floodplain may be flooded, including some minor roads.
  • Roads and bridges may be closed due to flooding. Check the VicTraffic website for road closures and follow instructions from emergency services.
