This Minor Flood Warning is being issued for Kiewa River downstream of Mongans Bridge.


MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING ALONG THE KIEWA RIVER AT BANDIANA

Moderate to heavy rainfall observed across the Kiewa River catchment during Saturday has resulted in river level rises and minor flooding.

Along the Kiewa River at Kiewa river levels fell below the minor flood level overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. 

Minor flooding continues at Bandiana.

No further significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.

Kiewa River downstream of Mongans Bridge: 
Minor flooding is occurring downstream of Mongans Bridge.   

The Kiewa River Channel at Kiewa is currently at 3.25 meters and steady, below the minor flood level. The Kiewa River Channel at Kiewa is expected to remain below the minor flood level 3.30 meters.    

The Kiewa River at Bandiana is currently at 2.88 meters and steady, with minor flooding. The Kiewa River at Bandiana is likely to remain above the minor flood level 2.80 meters for the next few days.
