This Advice message is being issued for Dutson Downs, Golden Beach, Paradise Beach.
  • There is a bushfire at Longford-Loch Sport Road, Seacombe that is not yet under control.
  • The bushfire is travelling from the south end of Longford-Loch Sport Rd in a north-easterly direction.
  • This Advice replaces the Watch and Act issued at 8:29 pm.
There is currently no threat to you, but you should stay informed and plan for what you will do if the situation changes. 
What you should do: 
  • Monitor weather conditions and warnings. 
  • Review your fire survival plan. 
  • If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes.
Impacts in your area: 
  • Emergency services will remain in the area overnight. 
  • Smoke will be visible from nearby communities and roads.
  • Longford-Golden Beach Road towards Golden Beach is now open.
