This Minor Flood Warning is being issued for the Kiewa River downstream of Mongans Bridge.

Minor flooding is possible at Bandiana on Sunday afternoon.

Heavy rainfall has been observed across the Kiewa River catchment since Friday morning. This has resulted in river level rises with minor flooding possible along the Kiewa River at Bandiana from Sunday afternoon.

A Flood Watch is current for parts of Gippsland, North East, Central, South West and North West Victoria, including the Kiewa River catchment.

Minor flooding is possible along the Kiewa River.

The Kiewa River at Bandiana is currently at 2.62m as of 09.58am on Sunday 4th October 2026 and rising, below the minor flood level. The Kiewa River at Bandiana may reach around the minor flood level (2.80 m) Sunday afternoon. The river may remain above the minor flood level (2.80 m) overnight Sunday into Monday.
