  • There may be smoke visible from smoldering peat 6.3KM South East Of Rosedale
  • This is a result of the Rosedale - West Boundary Track fire that began on 5 January 2019. 
  • This fire remains within containment lines and is under control
  • It is expected that smoke will be visible periodically until there is significant rain on the site.
  • Fire crews will continue to patrol the area. 
  • The smoke may be visible to travelers along the Rosedale-Longford Rd and from nearby communities.
There is no immediate threat to the community and no action is required.

Please exercise caution travelling along the Rosedale-Longford Rd
