Community Recovery Committees

Bushfire Recovery Victoria is working in partnership with communities and local councils to support bushfire recovery efforts based on the needs and priorities identified by fire affected communities. We are doing this by establishing Community Recovery Committees (CRCs) or linking into existing representative community groups.

CRCs will keep local voices, know-how and expertise front and centre during recovery planning and delivery. Taking this place based, community-led approach will ensure projects, grants and support programs developed with community, and funded government, over the coming months and years will be the right fit for that community.

You can find your local Community Recovery Committee by visiting https://www.vic.gov.au/community-noticeboard-bushfire-recovery

Donations can be made at any Bendigo Bank branch or online at vic.gov.au/bushfireappeal or Community Enterprise Foundation™

All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible and donors will be provided with a tax receipt through the Foundation.
